“Meet the Artist” Reception
Saturday, August 16 from 6:30-8:30 pm.
Both of my parents were artists. Art was all around me. I don’t remember a time when I wasn’t drawing or making art. As a little girl I had difficulty reading. Art was my world. Through elementary and high school I took as many art classes as I could. I graduated from the Maryland Institute College of Art and received my Master’s Degree from Marygrove College.
I then started my own special event design business in Columbus. After eleven years I was burned out. At that point I decided to teach. That gave me time for my own family and personal art making. Currently I am the art teacher at Cardington High School, the Ohio Art Education Association (OAEA) high school chair where I give presentations annually, and a member of the Dublin Art Guild. My personal studio is in Cardington where I also offer classes. I am most fulfilled when making art and try to incorporate art into everything I do.
Standard time frame for exhibitions is approximately 3 weeks, although other periods of time may be assigned due to high demand or will be considered upon request. Single night or weekend uses for performances, events, etc. will also be considered.
