Being a fourth generation artist, I have been drawing since I was a child and have been greatly
influenced by my family. Years of practice, as well as study at Northmor High School and at
Muskingum College, where I earned a bachelors degree in art and business, have helped me develop my
realistic style. Working primarily in pencil, I try to capture the feeling of my subjects while retaining their
visual accuracy. I also enjoy working with pastels, oil paints, watercolor, stained glass and ceramics.
My artwork does not represent any hidden agenda. I draw because I enjoy doing so. The process of
creating a drawing is as important to me as the finished product. Whether it is for 10 minutes
or 2 hours, it is a period of meditation and relaxation. By displaying my artwork, I hope to inspire
others to be creative. I hope to cause a smile, spark a memory or simply bring enjoyment to the viewer.
I live at Candlewood Lake in Mt. Gilead, Ohio with my husband, son, daughter, dogs, cat, fish & lizards.
I am an owner of E&E Nameplates, Inc., an industrial screen printing company located in Galion, Ohio.
I am a member of the Morrow County Art League and the Brush & Palette Art Club. I enjoy
gardening, bee-keeping and spending time outdoors with my family - hiking, camping and enjoying the
wildlife around us.
